Travel Requirements

A U.S. passport valid for six months beyond return date is needed. Visa for travel up to three months are issued at customs in Quito for U.S. Citizens. Private and public transportation to Siempre Verde can be arranged in Quito, preferably in advance. Inoculations for malaria are not needed (too high for the host mosquito), although side visits to the Amazon headquarters in Eastern Ecuador require malaria preventatives. An updated Tetanus booster is suggested. Consult the CDC for more complete information.
