The Siempre Verde research station,
completed in 1996, consists of some 2200 sq. ft., with a porch
surrounding a large courtyard. The Siempre Verde research station
features sleeping and dining accommodations for 20 people. With modern bathrooms with warm water showers, the facilities
are comfortable. The
library, which also doubles as a laboratory for studies in botany,
zoology, entomology, etc., houses many reference
materials to identify local plants and animals. Lovett's facility is
available for use by all schools, public and independent, as well as
college and university groups.
