During a recent visit to Ecuador, Lovett students visited the Yasuni Scientific Research Station, located in Yasuni National Park, a UNESCO Man and the Biosphere Reserve. Its 700,000 hectares of primary rainforest are home to some of the richest fauna and flora on earth. Yasuni provides students and researchers with logistical support, laboratory space, and comfortable room and board. It is operated by the Universidad Catolica of Ecuador.
